
The Scholarships for Cheerleaders Biological Chemistry Department John Innes Centre conduct fundamental research on molecular processes in plants and microbes.We recently discovered novel maltosyl transferase, GlgE, and its role in a new pathway for biosynthesis of glucans. This pathway is important because it was involved in the pathogenesis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is a new target with a new mode measures for anti-TB therapy.
The Scholarships for Cheerleaders successful candidate will have a PhD in biochemistry or equivalent experience with relevant research experience. International publication peer-reviewed journals is essential. postholder will also have experience in enzyme along with interpersonal skills and good computer. relevant experience of recombinant protein expression / mutagenesis, carbohydrate active enzymes, kinetics, regulation oligo, enzyme analysis of polysaccharide / protein crystallography and very desirable.http://www.callforpapersinfo.com
